I seek couples who value authenticity and are excited to let their true selves shine in front of the camera. It’s important that we share a vision—an understanding that the best moments are often the unscripted ones. Couples who trust the process and allow me to blend into the background, capturing their day as it naturally unfolds, help me create timeless images that reflect their unique connection.

This ensures that we’re on the same page and helps me plan my approach. I also scout the venue beforehand, checking lighting and key locations to anticipate the best shots. Clear communication is key—I ensure the couple knows what to expect while staying flexible to their needs.

How do you handle unexpected situations or changes in the schedule during a shoot?

Flexibility and calmness are essential. Weddings rarely go exactly as planned, so I’m always prepared to adapt on the fly. Whether it’s a sudden change in weather or a shift in the timeline, I remain focused on capturing beautiful moments as they unfold. My goal is to stay unobtrusive and calm, ensuring the couple can enjoy their day without worrying about the details.

Do you have any memorable stories from weddings that have particularly resonated with you?

One wedding that particularly resonated with me took place in a small countryside church, where the couple decided to have an intimate ceremony with just their closest family. The simplicity of the day, combined with the deep connection they shared, was incredibly moving. What struck me was how fully present they were with each other, unaffected by external distractions. Capturing those raw, emotional moments reminded me why I do this work.

My advice would be to focus on developing your own style—don’t try to emulate others too much. Be present and attentive to the emotions around you, as weddings are full of beautiful, fleeting moments. Build strong relationships with your clients, because trust is key to capturing authentic images. Lastly, remain patient and flexible; no wedding goes perfectly according to plan, but that’s often when the most beautiful, genuine moments happen.
